Ray Chan served in the Hong Kong Police for over 21 years and has a wealth of experience in criminal intelligence, investigation, international liaison, service quality management as well as operational duties. Throughout his career, Ray was involved in a number of significant and very successful crime arrests and operations whilst working in a wide variety of crime busting positions.
Ray also has extensive international law enforcement experience and headed the Interpol Liaison Office for South East Asia in Bangkok, Thailand as the Acting Head of the Office. In this post he oversaw and coordinated regional enforcement projects and intelligence operations in the region including in Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Laos and China targeting a range of transnational crimes.
Ray has also worked for an international non-government organisation based out of Hanoi, Vietnam as the Regional Law Enforcement Advisor for counter-wildlife trafficking in Asia, providing enforcement advice and training to government partners and law enforcement agencies as well as coordinating investigations and enforcement activities across countries in Asia.
